Aluminium 5083 Hexagonal Bars are primarily composed of aluminium, typically ranging from 94.0% to 97.0%. Magnesium is the main alloying element, present at approximately 4.0% to 4.9%, providing high strength and outstanding corrosion resistance. Manganese is added in small amounts, around 0.4% to 1.0%, to improve toughness. Chromium is present at about 0.05% to 0.25% to enhance stress corrosion resistance.
