Aluminium 1100 Hex Bars are composed of very high-purity aluminium, typically around 99.0% to 99.8%. Copper is present in small amounts, generally up to 0.05%, contributing slight strength without affecting corrosion resistance. Silicon and iron together are usually limited to a maximum of 0.95%. Manganese, magnesium, zinc, chromium, and titanium are present only in trace quantities, each usually below 0.05%. This high aluminium content ensures excellent corrosion resistance, superior conductivity, and excellent workability.
